MinPop Bootcamp Davao: Call for Participants

<p>With the concept for the <strong>1st Mindanao Popular Music Festival</strong> now coming to life, a series of free songwriting workshops in select Mindanao areas will form part of the promotional activities for the upcoming MinPop Songwriting Competition.<br></p>

<p>In relation to this, the first leg of the <strong>MinPop Bootcamp</strong> shall be held in Davao at Muzic’s Kool on <strong>June 15, 2019</strong> from 1:00 – 5:00 PM.<br></p>

<p>Through the workshops, participants can expect to receive basic to intermediate knowledge on the various approaches to songwriting. Lectures and training modules on useful tools and techniques in songwriting will also be shared during the bootcamp.<br></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Join MinPop Bootcamp Davao</h2>

<p>If you want to be one of the participants to MinPop Bootcamp Davao, follow these steps:<br></p>

<p>1. Prepare a two (2)-minute video of yourself doing the following:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Answer the question: “Why should you become part of the MinPop Bootcamp?” (1 minute)</li><li>Perform either your original work, or a cover of an OPM song (1 minute)</li></ul>

<p>2. <a href="https://minpop.com.ph/registration/">Fill up this online application form </a> and upload your video on the same page.<br></p>

<p>Deadline for submission of application is on June 10, 2019, 11:59 PM.<br></p>

<p>Announcement of the accepted participants will be released on <strong>June 12, 2019</strong> through the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="MinPop Facebook page (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.facebook.com/MindanaoPop/" target="_blank">MinPop Facebook page</a>.</p>
